RIGO TORRES PICTURE

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD WORKED WITH BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOS THEN FIXING IT ON PHOTO SHOP. THE EXPERIENCE WAS FUN AND OVER ALL I LEARNED A LOT ABOUT THE PROCESS TO MAKE A GREAT PICTURE LIKE THIS ONE. I CHOSE THIS PHOTO BECAUSED I LIKED WORKING WITH THE GRAY SCLAES THIS IMAGE HAD. YOU CAN DISTINGUISH THE DARK SCALES FROM THE LIGHTER ONES. THE WAY RIGO POSED BROUGHT A FEELING TO THIS IMAGE AND MAKES IT SEEM LIKE THIS IMAGE HAS A THINKING MOOD. NOT ONLY DID I LEARN HOW TO SHOOT IN DIFFERENT ANGLES BUT ALSO DURING THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING THIS PICTURE, AND ALSO ENLARGING IT. WORKING WITH THE CHEMICALS DIDNT WORRY ME BECAUSE YOU JUST HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO KEEP TRACK OF THE TIME. WHAT I HADA LITTLE BIT MORE TROUBLE WAS FOCUSING IT. IN THIS PICTUTRE IT WASN'T FOCUSED ALL THE, SO IT WASN'T SO SHARP,BUT IT LOOKS BETTER NOT FOCUESD ALL THE WAY BECAUSE IT HELPS CREATE THE MOOD OF THIS PICTURE.

  1. Good start. I have a few concerns, first, when you talk about that you"liked working with color scales...", that is incorrect. Obviously this is a black & white image. Please use the correct terminology. Second, please write out words completely this is not a text message! (U- you).
Third, this is not a complete reflection. Describe the image-Boy, outdoors, literal. Interpret- B&W print, sharp or not sharp, 35mm, too dark or light. Good or bad exposure.
Analyze- what are 'you'trying to say.
Judge- was it successful or not? This is where your personal opinion comes in.
